our photographers!

We're super excited for our photographers, Sarah and Rob Costa. We met with Rob a few weeks ago to discuss details for the wedding/reception. I didn't realize there were a bunch of details that I hadn't even thought of that could potentially be photographed (first glances, entrances/exits, dances, etc). I found their site randomly through an old friend via myspace. It's a small world...!

92 days

Whoa... The number is getting smaller and smaller! We've officially entered the double digit zone, and with a busy summer on the horizon, I'm hoping we can accomplish all our tasks on the to-do list. It's been a stressful week in the land of Cara and Andrew; so much that we haven't had the energy or time to focus on anything wedding related. We did find out that our first choice catering option became a bust (Montage doesn't cater on weekends & apparently, their food doesn't hold up well). So, back to square one. We know of a family friend who caters, and a ton of family members who have offered to prepare food. Our worry is that our family members would be missing out on the festivities, but then again, so much can be prepared in the days before the wedding. Plus, free help is free help! The cost of food would also be quite reasonable, and we can create the menu on our own. Decisions, decisions...

Andrew and I are also celebrating our one year anniversary today. I think a home cooked meal is in order, and then we'll be checking out a local cover band later this evening. I'm excited for the 3 day weekend! I need to relieve some major stress. Anyway, hopefully I can squeeze updates in more frequently now that things have calmed down for the moment.

103 days

I took a trip to Craft Warehouse and Joann Fabrics today in search of cream cardstock for the RSVP postcards - no dice! :( I'm thinking Michael's most likely carries them. The post office doesn't have the best variety of pre-stamped postcards, but I love LOVE love their new line of love stamps - the Queen and King of Hearts. A must buy for the invitations!

Other than that, I'll probably post more details about the ceremony, wedding party, reception theme, and vendors when I have a little downtime. I arrived home from work early after our agency meeting, so now it's time to round the up the fiance for some din din.

104 days

Wow! I can't believe the wedding date is quickly approaching. Yesterday, I was joined by my mom, Lori, Andrew's mom, Laurie, Amy (one of my bridesmaids), and my Aunt Sue for Invitationpalooza '09! We made a great start on the wedding invitations, as well as the bridal shower set. Laurie and I may continue working on them today, but we've got a few more weeks to complete this fun and exciting task, before the mass mailing.

I thought by setting up this blog, I'd be able to capture what the next 100+ days will entail, and be able to share mine and Andy's thought processes before we get hitched. We're very excited to see what's in store for us as we start this next journey, and are very pleased to share it with you!
